Scholarship Benefits

This is a tax-free living stipend of $35,000 per year (indexed annually). It covers tuition fees and Single Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC). The scholarship is funded by the Australian Government with the aim to help PhD students with living expenses and tuition fees.

Additional Information

This scholarship is for 3.5 years with the possibility of one extension. If you receive this scholarship after starting, there will be no back payments.

If you are a domestic part-time student with a medical condition, carer’s responsibilities or a disability preventing full-time study, you may be considered for the scholarship. This is assessed individually.
