Scholarship Benefits
- The KI Global Master’s Scholarship exclusively funds the tuition cost in full or partially for programmes that Karolinska Institutet administers.
- It does not encompass expenses for travel, sustenance, or any additional outlays, which must be covered by alternate financial sources.
It is also important to understand that the KI Global Master’s Scholarship is solely applicable to tuition fees for those enrolled in a Global Master’s Programme at Karolinska Institutet and is not transferable to other educational pursuits.
Eligibility
Eligibility criteria for the KI Global Master’s Scholarship stipulate that applicants must:
- have submitted an application for a Global Master’s Programme at Karolinska Institutet commencing in 2024,
- be categorized as a student liable for tuition fees (non-EU/EEA applicants),
- ensure payment of the application fee is completed by February 1, 2024,
- meet all entry and documentation prerequisites for the chosen program.
Please note that this scholarship opportunity is available exclusively to first-year students.
How to apply
Applications are accepted from February 9 to 28, 2024.
The selection criteria involve a comprehensive review of the applicant’s curriculum vitae and credentials, which should be provided through university admissions and will be assessed alongside the application for a KI Global Master’s programme. Individuals who are granted a scholarship will receive personal notification.
Additional Information
Karolinska Institutet provides a limited number of tuition fee scholarships to outstanding students admitted to our Global Master’s Programmes each Autumn. Typically, about 10 scholarships are distributed annually across all Global Master’s Programmes. With roughly 1500 international students vying for the scholarship each year, the competition is intense.
