Scholarship Benefits

  • In the 2024/25 academic year, as many as 33 scholarships will be on offer, with a special allocation of three for students originating from India.
  •  There will be ten scholarships covering both tuition and a maintenance stipend, while another 23 will cover only the full tuition fees.

Recipients can hold these scholarships for the standard length of their chosen program.

The objective of the UCL Global Undergraduate Scholarship is to facilitate and inspire students from lower-income international households to engage in full-time undergraduate studies at UCL.

Eligibility

Applicants may originate from any nation beyond the UK, yet they must meet every criterion listed:

  • Must be capable to pay the overseas rate of tuition fees;
  • Must be from a background characterized by low income*;
  • Additionally, must have completed an application for a full-time undergraduate program at UCL for the academic year 2024/25.

How to Apply

  • An application for admission to UCL must be filed prior to seeking this scholarship.
  • The UCL Global Undergraduate Scholarship application process will commence in January 2024, with detailed instructions provided on the official webpage.

Additionally, explanatory guidance notes will be published once the application becomes accessible in January 2024.

Additional Information

Candidates who are selected for the 2024/25 intake will receive notification of their success ahead of the UCAS offer response deadline, which is in the initial part of June 2024.

Recipients of the scholarship must promptly notify the UCL Student Funding Office of any additional funding received for their UCL undergraduate studies, whether before or after the award of the UCL Global Undergraduate Scholarship.
