Spain has a well-positioned educational system, however, studying in Spain is not possible for everyone due to the high cost of living and education in the country. In light of this, the Government of Spain and other Spanish institutions have created scholarship programs to make it easier for students to study in Spain. Still, most international students find it hard to score a scholarship in Spain due to the TOEFL and IELTS tests. The University of Barcelona offers scholarships to students applying for a master’s or bachelor’s degree program but cannot pay the enrollment fees. Grants are given to these students to help cater to their expenses.

#2.CRG scholarship In Spain

The CRG (Center for Genomic Regulation) offers scholarships in Spain to candidates from various countries that desire to register for a Master’s Thesis at CRG. Candidates will be offered a 600 euro monthly allowance with other pecks as benefits of this scholarship program.

The application process is online. IELTS is not required when applying. However, you must submit a reference letter and your transcript from your former institution.

#3.Erasmus Scholarship Grants

Candidates who desire to register in an institute in the EU having a bilateral consensus with Valencia university and the university of Barcelona get awarded this grant. To be eligible for this grant, candidates must be undergoing a master’s or a bachelor’s program and meet the financial, general, and academic requirements set out by the scholarship program.

#4.University of Barcelona grants for Els Juliols Summer Courses 

The University of Barcelona grants are for master, bachelor, and doctoral students who enroll in the university of Barcelona for an Els Juliols Summer Course. #6.European University of Atlantic Scholarships

The European University of Atlantic awards scholarships to candidates applying for an undergraduate degree program in Computer Engineering in Spain. One benefit of this scholarship program is that all tuition fees are free. The scholarship is for 20 students who enroll in an undergraduate program at the European University of Atlantic. 

The application process is online. You will need to submit a valid means of identification when applying. 

#7.Erasmus Mundus Scholarship For Students In Partner Country

Candidates in countries that have an alliance with Erasmus get the privilege of being awarded this scholarship. Benefits of this partnership program include a fully covered participation fee and tuition fee. A grant of 1000 euros is available to eligible students throughout the two years course of the scholarship program. Installation costs and travel expenses of the students are also covered yearly.

To be eligible for this scholarship program, candidates must present their language skills, recommendations, academic merits, motivation letters, and CVs.

#8.Spain Government Scholarship

The Government of Spain gives scholarships to international students to attract more students from various parts of the world to study in Spain. Since these scholarships are sponsored directly by the Government of Spain, they are highly profitable. The Government of Spain offers a scholarship investment of over 2 billion euros for 850,000 students.

#9.MAEC-AECID Scholarships 

MAEC-AECID (Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European and Cooperation) scholarship is a scholarship program directed by the Spanish Government and has been active for about seven decades. The MAEC-AECID Scholarships have four slots for students from several countries. The first slot is for Latin America and Spanish citizens, the second slot is for countries in Asia and Africa in partnership with the Spanish cooperation, and the final two are for Spanish residents. 

The MAEC-AECID Scholarships program consists of two categories. One category is for training Spanish residents in European institutions, and the other is for teaching the Spanish language at a foreign institution.

#10.University Of Salemenica Merit Scholarships 

The University Of Salemenica Merit scholarships is for both international and domestic students. These scholarships are given based on a candidate’s instinctive work projects, internship, career performance, academic performance, and previous job experience. You must present official documents concerning your GPA, proof of employment, and two reference letters to apply for this scholarship program.

The University Of Salemenica Economic Need scholarships are for students experiencing intense financial crises. The scholarships aim to assist members of the global community finding it hard to cope with their finances away from home. To be eligible for this scholarship, you must apply for the scholarship program and present satisfactory proof of financial need.

#11.Aga Khan Foundation Scholarships

The Aga Khan Foundation gives a limited number of scholarships each year to outstanding postgraduate students from developing countries who cannot finance their education. The Aga Khan Foundation’s help to students is limited to only living expenses and tuition fees coverage.

#12.Fulbright Scholarships in Spain

This scholarship program is for international candidates based on academic capabilities and achievements. The scholarship aims to assist students in extending their studies and completing a master’s degree program. The benefits of this scholarship include coverage for doctorates, coverage for research stops, and coverage of travel expenses. Although an IELTS test is not required, to meet the eligibility requirement for this scholarship, students must have a B1 proficiency in English.
