Scholarship Benefits
The master’s Arbour scholarship is valued at $20,000. The university distributes the scholarship in two equal payments: one in the fall semester and the other in the winter semester, after proof of full-time enrollment is provided. Master’s Arbour scholarships can be renewed once.
Eligibility
To be eligible, students must:
- Have completed at least two full-time semesters at a Québec university in the past 12 months before their file is transferred to the Foundation. Since the competition occurs in the summer, students must have been full-time in the fall and winter sessions preceding the summer semester. These two semesters could be from a different program than the one they are applying for.
- Be enrolled full-time in a master’s program in the fall and winter semesters following the competition to receive the scholarship.
- Have an average of 75% or higher.
- Have at least two full semesters remaining in their program at the time of the first scholarship payment (one fall and one winter semester).
The Arbour Foundation only acknowledges programs from these domains – engineering, administration, and computer science. Applicants are advised to check with their university of choice to see if they offer such programs.
How to apply
Applicants must submit their materials directly to the university where they are enrolled. Each university has its own procedures and deadlines. It’s the student’s responsibility to get the right information.
