Scholarship Benefits
Westpac Future Leaders Scholarships are some of Australia’s most impactful development scholarships. They provide up to $120,000 over 2-3 years for your postgraduate studies. Additionally, the scholarship will enhance your leadership skills, offering learning, insights, and inspiration to help you make a significant impact.
The scholarship duration is 2 to 3 years and is open to all courses.
Eligibility
To be eligible, you must:
- Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident
- Have finished your first undergraduate degree within the last 5 years, or will complete it by December 31, 2024
- Have achieved or be on track to achieve an average result of H1, H2A equivalent, or around 75 WAM
- Have demonstrated academic excellence
- Plan to pursue a full-time Master’s by Coursework or Research, or a PhD at UQ
- Start your studies in 2025 (current postgraduate students do not qualify)
