Scholarship Benefits

Here are the two offerings of the scholarship

Full Scholarship which covers the following:

  • Tuition fee waiver
  • Monthly living allowance:
  • IDR 1,500,000 for bachelor’s
  • IDR 1,750,000 for master’s
  • IDR 2,250,000 for doctoral
  • Free Indonesian language course
  • Health insurance

Partial Scholarship

This covers the following:

  • Tuition fee waiver
  • Free Indonesian language course 
  • Health insurance

The UNS Scholarship applies to all programs, but the quota is limited for the Faculty of Medicine or Medical Sciences. Students are responsible for all other fees and expenses like accommodation, airfare, visas, meals, transportation, additional health insurance, and personal costs.

Eligibility

To apply, you must:

  • Be a non-Indonesian citizen (Indonesian citizens are not eligible)
  • Express a strong interest in pursuing a bachelor’s degree at UNS
  • Be under 24 years old when you apply
  • Be prepared to attend a video interview
  • Not hold refugee status
  • Have no prior convictions for felonies or serious crimes that resulted in imprisonment
  • Demonstrate financial support
  • Submit all the required documents

How to apply

To apply, please follow these steps:

Step 1: Download the Letter of Offer from this link: http://uns.id/OfferLetterAug2025

Step 2: Review the list of available programs and their curricula at http://uns.id/listofcourses to find the one that matches your interests. http://uns.id/listofcourses

Step 3: Gather the required documents.

Step 4: Visit the Indonesian Embassy/Consulate General in your country and request a recommendation letter, bringing the Letter of Offer, your passport, graduation certificate, and academic transcript.

Step 5: Create an admission account on the UNS International Admission website.

Step 6: Enter your personal information.

Step 7: Upload all the required documents in the “Upload Document” section.

Step 8: Print a registration card after submitting the documents.

Step 9: The admission committee will conduct an administrative selection.

Step 10: Candidates who pass this stage will advance to the next selection steps.

Step 11. An initial interview will be conducted.

Step 12. A computer-based test will be administered.

Step 13. The final stage is an interview with the department.

Step 14. Successful candidates will be notified by email, along with a Letter of Acceptance.

Step 15. Selected students must confirm their intention to study at UNS.

Step 16. UNS will apply for the necessary study permit and student visa.

Step 17. Admitted students should come to UNS upon receiving notification from the university.
