To be eligible, you must:

  • Plan to enroll or currently be enrolled in a degree program at the University of Pisa, provided you do not already hold a qualification at the same educational level.
  • Submit all required documents, with translations into Italian.
  • If you are from an EU country, complete a specific declaration that can be downloaded after the online application process.

How to apply

Here is how to apply:

The DSU compiles a single ranking list that includes both foreign and Italian students. Provisional ranking lists are typically confirmed by the end of September each year.

Final rankings are usually approved by the end of November annually.

Application and Required Documents

The application must be submitted online through the Sportello Studente by the call’s deadline, usually published each July. Applicants do not need to be enrolled yet.

The grant is valid for only one academic year, so students must reapply each year.

Foreign students (with income abroad) seeking access to DSU services (Scholarship, Disabled Student Grant, Subsidized Canteen, etc.) must apply online, print the receipt, and submit it with documents certifying their family’s financial status and a valid ID.
