Scholarship Benefits

The scholarship covers tuition and fees, residence hall accommodation, a meal plan, university-provided health insurance, textbooks, an allowance for a laptop, and a $12,000 enrichment fund. The fund is designated for educational activities such as study abroad programs, unpaid internships, undergraduate research, and similar scholarly pursuits.


Applicants who choose Early Decision I or Early Action will be automatically evaluated upon their early admission application to University of Miami.

Additional Information

To maintain the Stamps Scholar designation, a student must enroll in a full-time undergraduate course load, which entails at least 12 credit hours each fall and spring semester, totaling a minimum of 24 credit hours annually. Additionally, the scholar is required to keep a minimum 3.0 GPA throughout the academic year at the University of Miami. The first GPA assessment will occur after the scholar’s second semester. It should be noted that this award may be adjusted if the student receives any grants, scholarships, or prepaid tuition and/or housing benefits that were not accounted for when the initial award was granted.
