Eligibility

  • Eligibility for the Singapore ICAO Fellowship requires that you are a government official.
  • Endorsed or nominated by your Director-General of Civil Aviation, or an equivalent authority.
  • Possessing job qualifications and a work portfolio pertinent to the applied course.

Due to the scarcity of fellowships, organizations should nominate only a single candidate for each course.

People from developing countries can apply for this programme.

How to apply

To pursue the Singapore ICAO Fellowship, interested and eligible candidates must adhere to the following steps:

  • Step 1: Sign in or establish a new iSAA1 account.
  • Step 2: Access the course application by selecting the corresponding link in the “Fellowship Application Link” column found in the table below.
  • Step 3: Verify the accuracy of the course title and its scheduled date. Choose your Country and Organisation Type before applying for the fellowship.
  • Step 4: Complete all necessary information on the application form, then upload the signed nomination form, a passport-size photo, and your passport’s biodata page.

Notification of the application results will be issued 8 weeks prior to the commencement of the course. Award Letters will be distributed to successful candidates via email.

Award recipients are required to acknowledge the acceptance of the fellowship through email and to provide a copy of their confirmed flight e-ticket.

Additional Information

Sponsored yearly by the Singapore Government and managed by the ICAO Technical Cooperation Bureau, the Singapore ICAO Fellowship Programme extends support through educational opportunities.

This initiative grants 330 Fellowships and 10 Scholarships for government officials hailing from qualifying developing ICAO Member States. These are intended for participation in targeted training programmes orchestrated by the Singapore Aviation Academy (SAA).
