Scholarship Benefits

From €900 to €2000, the following costs can be covered: research expenses, travel abroad, and living expenses.

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must meet the following requirements:

  • You are enrolled as a Bachelor or Master student at Leiden University. 
  • Membership in L.S.V. Minerva is not required. 
  • The application is for an exceptional or notable study or research project overseas. 
  • The project should be an internship, study, or research. 

PhD tracks and full Master programs are ineligible.

  • Fill out the form
  • Ensure you have all necessary documents. 
  • Send your entire application package to the given address before the deadline.

Selection process

The allocation committee, which includes Leiden lecturers from various fields, will assess all applications based on set criteria. They will consider the relevance of the research and its contribution to academic knowledge. You will be notified within one month after the application deadline if you have been granted a scholarship.

The Minerva Scholarship Fund Foundation offers scholarships for study and research projects across different fields. Specifically, the MSF seeks to support outstanding and unique student projects overseas. The Minerva Scholarship Fund is a project of the Leiden Minerva Student Association.
