Eligibility

To be eligible for the Africa Scholarship Programme selection procedure, you must meet the following requirements:

  • You are a citizen of an African country.
  • You have submitted your application for one of the master’s programs at Wageningen University & Research within the specified deadline. For further information on how to apply, please refer to the relevant guidelines.
  • You have been unconditionally admitted to the MSc program you applied for.
  • You have demonstrated exceptional academic performance, with a First-Class Honours degree and a GPA of 80% or higher in your Bachelor’s degree. This places you among the top 5% of students.

Only if you fulfill all of the aforementioned requirements will you be considered eligible to participate in the selection procedure for the Africa Scholarship Programme.

How to apply

Please note that the selection procedure for the Africa Scholarship Programme is by invitation only. Direct applications for the scholarship are not accepted. Eligible candidates who have met all the specified requirements will be invited to participate in the selection process.
