Scholarship Benefits
The scholarship is a total of $30,000 and offers a $15,000 annual living allowance for two years. This is paid in $7,500 installments in April and September.
Eligibility
To qualify, you must:
- Be a citizen of Australia or New Zealand, or a permanent resident of Australia
- Identify as a woman (cisgender or transgender)
- Meet the entry requirements and enroll in the Master of Science (Physics) program (or its successor)

Selection Criteria
The scholarship is awarded to the student(s) with the highest weighted average mark in the Physics or Mathematical Physics major in the Bachelor of Science (or equivalent). Preference is given to those studying Astrophysics. Other scholarships and prizes received are also considered.
Conditions
This scholarship follows the University Coursework Scholarships Terms and Conditions and cannot be deferred. Additionally, students must:
- Maintain good academic standing in their course
- Allow the University to share their name and course details with the scholarship donor
- Provide a thank-you note or a brief report on the scholarship’s benefits if requested
