Eligibility
To qualify, applicants must satisfy each criterion below:
- Hold citizenship within the EU and/or EEA.
- Exhibit qualities such as maturity, adaptability, and the potential for leadership in responsible management sectors like Climate Change, Digital Transformation, or the Arts.
- Possess a bachelor’s degree by June 15, backed by an outstanding academic track record.
- Prove fluency in English to the degree necessary for acceptance at Franklin University Switzerland.
- Secure and retain a Swiss visa or study permit as mandated.
How to apply
To finalize your application, the following must be submitted:
- A filled-out application form along with a CHF 90 non-refundable application fee.
- A photocopy of your passport.
- Your resume or curriculum vitae.
- A personal statement, which serves as a platform to articulate your motivation for pursuing graduate studies. Discuss your professional aspirations, interests, and how the program aligns with your career objectives. This statement should be roughly 500 words, composed in U.S. English, formatted in a standard 12-point font for readability, and include your full name.
- Official transcripts from all post-secondary education, accredited with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, including any additional coursework, study abroad experiences, or postgraduate education.
- Proof of English-language proficiency, if applicable. If your undergraduate education was at a non-English-speaking institution, a TOEFL score of 90 or an IELTS score of 6.5 is required.
- Two letters of recommendation from individuals familiar with your professional or academic capabilities, such as a current or past supervisor, a colleague, or a professor. The depth of their knowledge about you is more critical than their position.
After your application dossier is complete and all criteria are satisfied, you will receive an email with instructions to arrange an interview.
Additional Information
Franklin University Switzerland provides merit-based scholarships to students who have been admitted and have shown a high level of academic excellence. Candidates are evaluated for merit awards during the admission process, and these awards are granted upon admission. Qualifying students who are admitted to the Master of Science in International Management (MSIM) program are eligible for this merit award.
