Scholarship Benefits

King Scholars are enrolled at Dartmouth for a full four-year period without any financial burden to them or their families. This encompasses health insurance coverage, provision of a new computer during the first year, and yearly travel to and from Dartmouth and the scholar’s country of residence.

The King Scholars Program targets students from developing countries who come from low-income backgrounds and possess a keen interest in mitigating poverty within their nations of origin. While at Dartmouth, King Scholars are awarded scholarships that span their 4-year academic tenure, along with comprehensive mentorship and leadership development. After completing their studies, they are expected to go back to their home countries and address poverty-related challenges, with the ongoing support of the Dartmouth alumni community.
