The Scottish government offers Scotland’s Saltire Scholarships in collaboration with Scottish universities. Coverage and Benefits of Scotland’s Saltire Scholarships 

Scotland’s Saltire Scholarships program offers up to 50 awards, each worth about £8000, as tuition fees to people who opt for any of the higher institutional education centers in Scotland on a postgraduate masters program to engage in a full-time study. 

As a saltire scholar, you will also be allowed to participate in a program of activities that are not limited to your studies, including dialogue with the Scottish business and academic community.

Another benefit of Scotland’s Saltire Scholarships program is that, as one of the Scottish Saltire Scholars, you will have the opportunity to act as an ambassador, not just for the Saltire Scholarship program but for the whole of Scotland. The big question is, who qualifies to enroll in the Saltire Scholarships program? 

Eligibility For Scotland’s Saltire Scholarships 

Eligibility for the scholarship program;

• You must have a conditional or definite offer from a university in Scotland on a suitable course.
• If you have received a Saltire Scholarship before, you do not qualify.
• You must also be a citizen of Pakistan, the USA, Japan, India, Canada, and China (citizens of Hong Kong also qualify).
• You must be fluent in the language required for the course. 
• You must show that you can achieve the remaining tuition fees and that the cost of living in Scotland will not be a problem for you. 
• If you have studied in Scotland previously for a full undergraduate degree, you do not qualify.
• Make sure to fill and submit the application form on or before the 30th of December, 2022. 

Eligible candidates must also do the following;

• Candidates must show a certain level of interest in schooling at a particular university in Scotland and also be interested in Scotland.
• They must show the desire to study and work in a universal context and assume a leadership role in their selected career.
• A program of activities accompanies Scotland’s Saltire Scholarships. Eligible candidates must show they have the needed interpersonal and communication skills and a willingness to participate in these activities.
