Scholarship Benefits
The Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarships are given to women studying business who have shown great potential in the field. Zonta International provides up to 37 international scholarships of $5,000 each.
Eligibility
Who can apply?
- Women of any age studying business with a major in accounting, economics, finance, business management, business technology, information technology, marketing, operations management, human resources management, international business, or entrepreneurship at an accredited institution, who show great potential in the field and live or study in a Zonta district or region, can apply.
- Any woman enrolled in a business program at an accredited school, including online programs, who is at least in her second year of an undergraduate program or in a master’s program can apply. The scholarship can be used at any accredited university, college, or institute.
- Online students enrolled at an accredited institution are also eligible.
- Applicants must be in at least the second year of an undergraduate program or in the final year of a master’s program when they submit their application to the local Zonta club. They must still be enrolled when the scholarship funds are given and cannot graduate before April 2024. Members of Golden Z clubs can apply.
- Applicants from areas within a Zonta district or region without local clubs will be considered for international scholarships through a Zonta district or region.

Step 1: Find a Zonta Club: Use the Club Locator at https://www.zonta.org/locateaclub on the Zonta website to find a club near you. This will provide you with the deadline and address for submitting your application.

Step 2: Application Requirements: Make sure all application materials are completed in English and received by the Zonta club by the deadline on the application. Only typed applications will be accepted and considered.

Additional Information
The program runs at the Zonta club, district/region, and international levels. Zonta International provides 37 international scholarships of $5,000 each. Each district/region can submit one applicant for the international scholarship. The five largest districts can submit a second applicant, allowing for a total of two applicants.
