Scholarship Benefits

  • When fellows come to Oxford in person, they will get a single-occupancy study bedroom with a private bathroom. They will also receive a temporary University card, which lets them enter University and college buildings. Fellows will be temporary members of the host college’s Senior Common Room while they are there.
  • The fellowship will pay for a round-trip economy flight, airport transfer, visa fee, and a weekly allowance of up to £250 for expenses during their stay, based on University guidelines.
  • Fellows can use Oxford University’s resources, such as the library. They will also get help to improve their research leadership skills.

Eligibility

To qualify for the program, you need to meet the following criteria:

  • Be a citizen of any African country or possess indefinite leave to remain in any African country.
  • Hold a position in an African university or research institution that is based in an African country.
  • Be a legal resident in the host country where your institution is located.

Additional Information
