Eligibility
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Successfully apply and gain admission to one of the universities associated with the CMAP program;
- Achieve a minimum academic standing of Second Class Honours (Upper Division) or its equivalent in Economics or a related field from a recognized university;
- Female applicants and those from post-conflict and fragile states are given special consideration and are strongly urged to apply.
How to apply
Interested applicants should take the following steps to apply for the scholarship:
Submit their admission applications directly to the relevant universities. Detailed application procedures can be found on the respective university’s website.
Once an admission letter has been obtained from one of the specified universities, applicants are required to upload the following documents to the AERC scholarship portal at https://training.aercafrica.org/admissionnew
Application cover letter;
- Curriculum Vitae (CV);
- Proof of admission from one of the listed universities;
- Certified copies of academic transcripts and certificates.
