Who is eligible to apply for this scholarship?

The following requirements must be met to apply for this scholarship:

• You need a valid passport & you must not be a citizen of China.

• You must have an excellent academic record & have received an offer from a higher educational institution in Shanghai.

• You must have strong English language proficiency.

• Both your physical and mental health must be good.

• You must agree to abide by Chinese laws and regulations during your stay in China. 

• The applicant’s family members may not reside in China simultaneously as the student.

• Age limit is 18-40 years old. For a pre-college program, the age must be under 23. For a bachelor’s degree program, the age must be under 25. for the Master’s degree program, one must be under 35 years old. For the doctoral degree program, one must be under 40 years old.
