Eligibility

Scholarships will be granted to candidates who gain acceptance into the MSc Surgical Sciences (Online Learning) and ChM (Online Learning) in General Surgery, Urology, Trauma & Orthopaedics, Vascular & Endovascular programs.

Candidates must be nationals and residents of a qualifying country; please refer HERE for the comprehensive list.

For eligibility for the full scholarship, please note:

Candidates must be nationals and residents of an eligible LMIC – refer to the World Bank Listing as this varies annually.

Candidates must possess at least a conditional offer for a Masters program.

Candidates are required to submit a letter of support, which should be sent to the eso.scholarship email address.

How to apply

Complete the online application for the MSc in Surgical Sciences, ChM in Urology, ChM in Trauma & Orthopaedics, ChM in General Surgery, ChM in Trauma & Orthopaedics, or ChM in Vascular & Endovascular Surgery.

Receive at least a conditional offer to commence the master’s program in September 2024.
