Scholarship Benefits
- The Université Paris-Saclay scholarship provides an annual sum of 10,000€. This amount is disbursed by Université Paris-Saclay over the academic year, covering a span of 10 consecutive months from September to June.
- Additionally, a travel and visa expense grant of up to 1,000€ may be allocated, with the amount varying based on the scholarship recipient’s country of origin.
Scholarship awardees will only receive their scholarship funds and travel expense allowances after they have arrived in France and have officially enrolled in the program to which they have been accepted.
Eligibility
Eligible candidates for the Paris-Saclay University Master’s program are those enrolled at one of the following institutions:
- AgroParisTech, ENS Paris-Saclay, CentraleSupelec, INSTN-CEA, IOGS, UPSaclay, UEVE, UVSQ. Among these candidates, eligibility to apply is restricted to those meeting any of the criteria below:
- International students newly arrived in France, who are under the age of 30 within the selection year.
- Foreign students residing in France for less than a year, who have been part of a non-degree granting training or internship.
- Foreign students residing in France for under a year, engaged in FFL (French as a Foreign Language) courses.
- Students of foreign nationality who have previously stayed in France as part of a study mobility programme (such as Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Degrees, exchange programmes, etc.) that did not culminate in a degree.

How to apply
- Students who are chosen will receive an email containing a link to the online application form. When they get this email, students who wish to proceed must fill out the online form and are required to provide the names and contact information for two references willing to endorse them (such as a study director, professor, or internship supervisor).
- The two references specified by the applicant will each be emailed a link to an online recommendation form. They must fill out and send this form back before the scholarship application deadline. The applicant will be notified automatically once each reference has submitted their recommendation.
- An application for a scholarship is deemed complete only after both references have submitted their recommendation forms. Important to note: applicants will not receive a confirmation message when their application packet is complete. It is the responsibility of the applicant to confirm that their references have submitted the recommendations on time, as per the deadline mentioned in the initial email invitation.
Any application that remains incomplete or is submitted past the deadline will be automatically dismissed.
Additional Information
Gaining admission to a Master’s program at Paris-Saclay University does not guarantee a scholarship. Students who are eligible for a Paris-Saclay University IDEX scholarship will be chosen by the admissions committee from the pool of admitted Master’s students.
Only those students who have received an invitation via email from Paris-Saclay University to apply for an IDEX scholarship will have the opportunity to submit a scholarship application.
It is not possible to apply for a scholarship without a formal invitation; unsolicited applications will not be considered.
