Scholarship Benefits

  • The fellowship provides the unique opportunity to reside for five to six months in the garden cottage of Albert Einstein’s former summer home located in Caputh, Brandenburg. 
  • This charming retreat is situated conveniently close to the scholarly hubs of Potsdam and Berlin. 
  • The fellow will be granted a stipend amounting to EUR 10,000, in addition to compensation for travel expenditures.


Eligible applicants for this fellowship should be below the age of 35 and possess a university degree in one of the following disciplines: humanities, natural sciences, or social sciences.

For the 2025 fellowship cycle, applicants are required to submit the following documents:

  • A curriculum vitae (CV).
  • A project proposal, not exceeding two pages.
  • Two letters of recommendation.
