Scholarship Benefits

The scholarship is designed to encompass a comprehensive array of expenses, which include: educational costs such as tuition, assorted academic fees (this encapsulates charges for credits, lab usage, refresher courses, enrolment, thesis submission, and thesis document production), travel expenses for round trip flights, fees associated with obtaining a visa, an initial allowance for settling in, funds to aid in relocation, housing costs, a stipend provided monthly, an allowance for textbooks, coverage for medical insurance, among additional miscellaneous items.

Eligibility

Scholarship opportunities are available to qualified candidates who fulfill the criteria below:

  • Must be younger than 30 years old (without exceptions)
  • Possess an undergraduate degree with a cumulative GPA of no less than 2.75 within the disciplines listed:
  • For Sciences: Specializations such as Chemistry, Biology, Biological Sciences, Molecular Biology, Environmental Sciences are accepted.
  • For Medical Sciences: Degrees in Medicine or Medical Technology are prerequisites.
  • Candidates with degrees in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences are also eligible.
  • Additionally, applications from individuals with degrees in allied fields are encouraged.
  • Required: Practical experience conducting research in scientific labs
  • Proven proficiency in English is essential, ideally through a recognized language proficiency examination such as TOEFL or IELTS
  • Submission of a personal statement detailing the applicant’s interest in their chosen area of study is mandatory

Prospective applicants must accurately fill out the application form for the Chulabhorn Graduate Institute Post-Graduate Scholarship Program designated for international students. All required supporting documentation should be submitted via the steps outlined below:

Additional Information

For the current year, a total of 15 (fifteen) scholarship slots are being offered to international candidates interested in pursuing a Master’s Degree program at the Chulabhorn Graduate Institute (CGI). The selection process for these scholarships will be strictly merit-based. Thai nationals are advised to apply for scholarships through a separate program specifically announced for Thai citizens.
