Scholarship Benefits

Excellence Scholarships Ampère:

  • Eligible Master’s programs: All Master’s degrees (FEADép Master’s degrees excluded)
  • Value: Monthly stipend of 1,000€ for a single academic year (subject to renewal upon meeting certain criteria)

GRADUATE + Scholarship Scheme:

  • For distinguished international candidates enrolling in a Master’s degree, ENS de Lyon offers the GRADUATE+ Scholarship. This is applicable for CORE, DynLifeSys, MathInfi, PACE graduate initiatives, and other Master’s programs, for either first (M1) or second year (M2) students.
  • Stipend: A 1,000€ monthly payment for a duration of 10 months.

These scholarships are supported by the French government’s SFRI initiative.

For admission into the first year of a Master’s program (M1), candidates must possess an L3 degree (equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree with 180 ECTS credits) or an equivalent qualification from a foreign institution.

To be eligible for entry into the second year of a Master’s program (M2), candidates are required to have completed an M1 degree (totaling 240 ECTS credits) or hold a comparable degree from an institution outside the country.

The ENS de Lyon, alongside its partners, provides scholarships to outstanding international students who wish to pursue Master’s degrees in the fields of Exact Sciences, Arts, and Human and Social Sciences (with the exception of FEADép Master’s programs)
