You must have obtained at least 80% in two of your most recent full-time academic years, have a strong academic history, and have research experience. You should also provide proof of your English language ability.

#2.Geographical Club Award By Royal Geographical Society 

For Ph.D. degrees in geography, the Royal Geographical Society will grant the Geographical Club Award in 2023. 

The Geographical Club Award offers two prizes to help Ph.D. candidates. Applicants who are conducting fieldwork or other types of data collecting in the UK or abroad to get a better understanding of geography will get these awards. One prize is granted in physical geography and another in human geography. The last day to submit an application is November 23, 2023.

#3.Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships (Vanier CGS)

There are annually more than 150 scholarships offered, especially for overseas students. For Ph.D. education in Canada, the Vanier scholarships provide up to CAD 50,000 (US $36,585) per year. 

In order to be selected, you must be nominated by your university and should exhibit proficiency in research. You have to possess leadership potential in order to be chosen.

The Vanier-Banting Secretariat oversees the Vanier CGS program on behalf of Canada’s three funding bodies.

#4.Carlsberg Foundation Internationalisation Fellowships 

The Carlsberg Foundation encourages the internationalization of Danish skills and talent development in Danish research through its Internationalization Fellowships. Your application must be submitted by April 1, 2023. The whole funding, research allowance, living costs, and other incentives make up the worth of this scholarship.

The Internationalization fellowships are open to those students who have had their Doctorate for more than three years at the time of application. The applicant must either possess a Ph.D. degree or have had their Ph.D. thesis evaluated in order to be considered.

#5.Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS) Program 

The 2023 Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS) Program is available to students pursuing Masters’s or Ph.D. degrees in any university’s academic specialties. OGS is a scholarship awarded based on merit. The school a candidate intends to attend establishes criteria for evaluating and ranking applications. 

The applicants should be enrolled full-time in a program for two or more terms (21 to 52 weeks overall) during the academic year they submit their application.

#6.University of Windsor Graduate Entrance Scholarships

University of Windsor Graduate Entrance Scholarships are available for master’s and doctoral degrees in every discipline the institution offers. The candidate might be a local or international student.

For Ph.D. candidates in the fields of clinical, laboratory, or translational work relevant to pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine, the Parker B. Francis Fellowship is available. Applicants must be US or Canadian citizens or permanent residents with a doctorate in the subject. 

Parker B. Francis Fellows must devote at least seventy-five percent of their time to research.

#8.Uruguay Scholarships by the National Agency for Research and Innovation ANII 

Scholarships from the National Agency for Research and Innovation (ANII) of Uruguay are available for Masters’s and Doctoral programs in all subjects taught at institutions in 2023. 

The ANII accelerates its goals for development and expansion in terms of scholarships, research projects, and funding to make Uruguay a regional innovation centre with a 70% increase in its budget. 

The amount of this scholarship is just tuition costs, a 20% reduction on master’s degree tuition fees, and a 50% discount on doctoral degree tuition fees. Your application must be submitted by March 22, 2023.

#9.TS Ambedkar Overseas Vidya Nidhi Scholarship (Only for Indians)

The TS Ambedkar Overseas Vidya Nidhi Scholarship is available for Master’s and Doctorate degrees in any subject area provided by institutions in 2023. 

The Government of Telangana is offering this scholarship, which is worth the whole cost of tuition, a round-trip ticket for the economy, and visa costs. This fellowship is intended to assist Indian students in the SC and ST categories who wish to pursue Masters and Ph.D. programs in any disciplines or topics overseas. The deadline for this application varies.

  • Students must have received a minimum grade of 60% in their undergraduate or graduate program. Students must have at least one of the following valid minimum scores: GRE 260, GMAT 500, TOEFL 60, IELTS 6.0, or PTE 50.
