Scholarship types

The scholarships provided by Charles Darwin university are of the following types:

  • Vice chancellor’s international high achiever’s scholarship (VCIHAS )

  This scholarship is available for undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degrees covering  50% or 25% of the academic fee for the full period of the course. It needs separate application.

  •  Charles Darwin excellence award:

This scholarship is available for undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degrees covering 50% of the academic fee for the first year of the course and 10% of the scholarship for the remaining years.

  • CDU global award leader:

This scholarship is available for undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degrees covering 50% of the academic fee for the first year of the course and 10% of the scholarship for the remaining years.

  • CDU global award achiever:

This scholarship is available for undergraduate and postgraduate coursework degrees and covers about 15% of the academic fee for the first year of the course.

  • Higher research degree scholarships:

These CDU scholarships are fully funded.

  • Scholarships by Northern Territory (NT):

These scholarships are based on students’ academic performance, superintendence, and social and community engagement. They are for higher education.
