Henrich Muskenug

ca. 1831

This fraktur was filed with Pvt. Henry Moosknug's (Muskenug in German) application for a Revolutionary War pension. A tailor from Maxadonia, Pennsylvania, he served two years in the Continental Army. Captured twice he fought at Long Island, Brandywine, Germantown, and Monmouth and wintered at Valley Forge, West Point, and Morristown. In March 1831 he was awarded $80 a year. He died in August 1835.
