Christian Nichols

ca. 1820

Christian Nichols served six months as a private in Col. John Keller’s regiment of the Bucks County (PA) Militia during the Revolutionary War. In 1820 P. Atta completed this fill-in-the-blank fraktur recording the birth of Christian’s son Daniel. It was filed with the pension application of Susannah Nicholas, Christian’s widow. Susannah received $20 a year beginning in November 1840.
